We've seen prosciutto and melon, seared Ahi Tuna, Escargot Gratinee, chops, braised pork, and a Le Royale burger, but you may discover some completely different wonderful fare the day you visit. Middle sized entrees could range from 9 to 16 USD, and large from 16 to 35 USD. The most important consistency is the fact that the food is fresh and divine to the taste buds! Cafe Amici, which offers open air seating by the rock walls of a 19th century warehouse that is now A.H. Riise Mall, offers lunch daily from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The menu consists of reasonably priced soups. Salads, wraps, pastas, and pizza, with all entrees ranging from 6 to 18 USD. -So this is a reasonable place to get something for your mid day meal that likely won't break the budget or leave you feeling too stuffed for more sightseeing! Minestrone soup, Caprese Salads, Pasta Marinara, Ravioli alla Vodka, built yourself pizzas, and specialty pizzas like Pizza Margherita and Hawaiian Pizza are among your choices. Amalia Cafe, situated at 24 Palm Passage, truly possesses all the charming ambiance of the island, complete with the cobblestone street nearby! With food prices ranging from 13 to 20 USD for lunch, and from 21 to 28 USD for dinner, you can certainly find less expensive fare elsewhere. However, this place is known for superb Spanish cuisine prepared by Dominican Republic chefs trained in this culinary art. The sangria, flan, and Paella Valenciana are considered to be the best you'll find on the island! For lunch, there's a selection of starters in addition to soups and salads, with entrees including Salpicion de Mariscos, Ensalada Catalana, Salmon Ammiel, and Codillos de Cordero Asado. Tapas at dinner time include Champinones Ajillo and Chorizo a la Sidra. Main courses, such as Zazuela de Pescado, Besugo Donosti, Payto Pirynes, and Pasta of the Day, are all excellent!
