Royal Caribbean offers one of the leading, year round kids program in the industry. There is so much for kids to do onboard a Royal Caribbean Cruise ship plus Royal Caribbean makes it easy for them to connect with people their own age in a safe and fun environment. For the adults, this means the peace of mind and a little extra time for couples to reconnect and relax as well. However, while there are plenty of ways for the kids to "do their own thing", there is ample opportunity for family time as well.
Royal Caribbean's Club Adventure program is divided into groups based on age ranges:
- Aquanauts for ages 3-5,
- Explorers for ages 6-8,
- Voyagers for ages 9-11
- Navigators for ages 12-14
- Guests ages 15-17.
There also a “Aqua Babies” and "Aqua Tots" division for ages 6 months to 18 month and a “Royal Tots” division for ages 18 months to 36 months.
Qualification of Kid's Program Staff
Each group in the Royal Caribbean youth program has their own Director overseeing that specific program, their own dedicated space, and age–appropriate planned activities for their group. Youth Directors have experience and/or education in child-care, recreation and are certified in CPR, and have passed a background check.
This information is provided as a general overview. It is best to verify the availability of services with the Royal Caribbean Youth Program Staff for current pricing and operating hours once you are onboard.
