Carnival Valor Main Dining Rooms:

The Washington and Lincoln (Main Dining Room) Restaurants:

CCL_Food_lobster2In keeping with the heroic decorative theme, Carnival Valor's main dining rooms celebrate legendary Washington and Lincoln in resplendent 19th century décor.

Menu items include starters such as smoked duck with caramelized oranges, fried mozzarella with mixed greens, chilled cream of peaches, wilted spinach and portabello mushrooms with fresh bacon bits, and cream of sun-ripened tomatoes with a touch of gin. Appetizers also include at least two soups and salads. This is a 'foodie' ship! Chef recommended entrees include farfalle with turkey breast and peas, assorted seafood Neuberg (with black tiger prawns and ocean scallops in lobster sauce over pilaf), and grilled center cut pork chops. Norwegian Salmon, Grilled Chicken Breast, and Flat Iron Steak are among regular menu selections. Dessert include ice cream, sherbet, cheeses, pies, and cakes. Your staff performs musical interludes worth your while.

The Washington dining room onboard Carnival Valor is aft, and includes more windows than The Lincoln. Both restaurants are located on the Lobby Deck.

Breakfast is served from 7:45am to 9:00am. Lunch is from noon to 1:30pm. Early dinner seating time ranges from 5:45pm to 6:15pm, and late dinner seating time is from 8:00pm to 8:30pm.

  • Appropriate attire is a must for dinner.
  • Meals are no cost, but special beverages, wines, beer, and soft drinks may be purchased via current bar menu.
  • When ordering steaks, make sure you state your preferences as the kitchen tends to over-cook meat.
  • Seating in the balcony areas is preferable for most because it is more quiet than the main floor, and aft deck Washington balcony seating is considered more preferable Main dining room restaurants are less crowded than Rosie's Restaurant for breakfast and lunch.
  • Typically, only one main dining room is open for breakfast.
  • While both main dining rooms of the Carnival Valor offer meals most guests recommend, Scarlett's Supper Club is considered to be the dining highlight of the cruise and we highly suggest you plan at least one evening to include this experience.
