These two tiered main dining rooms onboard Carnival Splendor are draped in gargantuan sculpted strands of pearls. The decor celebrates the beauty of jewelry, one of the splendid things thematic to Carnival Splendor's interior design by architect Joe Farcus. Lobster is served typically on one night of the cruise, and your menu offers you six soups and appetizers, a couple of salads, six entrees, and a selection of desserts to include the decadent chocolate melting cake. Carnival apparently responded to the less positive reviews of guests on past cruise ships by offering an expanded variety of menu selections which always include beef, seafood, and poultry. The Carnival Splendor's Gold Pearl dining room is located aft and the Black Pearl is midship on Lobby Deck.

Breakfast is served from 7:45am to 9:00am. Lunch is from noon to 1:30pm. Early dinner time seating ranges from 5:45pm to 6:15pm, and late dinner seating time is from 8:00pm to 8:30pm.

Tips for Carnival Splendor's main dining rooms - Gold Pearl & Black Pearl

• Breakfast is served from 7:45am to 9:00am. Lunch is from noon to 1:30pm.
• Early dinner time seating ranges from 5:45pm to 6:15pm, and late dinner time seating is from 8:00pm to 8:30pm.
• Reservations for dinner are anticipated.
• For breakfast and lunch, casual clothing is OK but no swim wear is permitted.
• Appropriate attire is a must for dinner.
• Meals are no cost, but special beverages, wines, beer, and soft drinks may be purchased via current bar menu.
• When ordering steaks, make sure you state your preferences as the kitchen staff tend to over-cook meat.
• While the main dining room of the Carnival Splendor offers meals with good reviews, The Pinnacle Supper Club is considered to be the dining highlight of the cruise and we highly suggest you plan at least one evening to include this experience.

Carnival Cruises Your Time Dining

Throughout your Carnival Splendor cruise, you'll be able to savor cuisine as you wish on your time! From 5:45pm to 9:30pm, both main dining rooms provide first come, first serve seating. Wait time is usually 20 minutes, and parties of ten plus may be accommodated at different tables. All tips / the tipping policy for the main dining room does apply.
